Hammock Beach Resort and Golf

Fantastic! That’s the best way to describe it. The Ocean Course is amazing. Even the Conservatory course is really nice. The resort has lots of restaurants and a great pool area for the family.

Hammock Beach Resort is located on the beach with multiple restaurants, pools, and two golf courses. It’s located in Palm Coast Florida, about an hour and a half northeast of Orlando. Located between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine.

Basically, you’re staying at a private country club. No cash or credit cards around the property. Everywhere you go, they will ask for your member number or room key. They will not even give you a menu in a restaurant without that member number or room key.

The Resort

From the start, the service is impeccable. We pull up and there’s a line for the valet. The valet walks out to the car, while still in the line. He takes your bags and clubs. I told him we had a tee time the next day. They send your clubs down to the clubhouse.

There are multiple restaurants, and I would recommend reservations. If you ask, they will take care of it for you when you are checking in.

This can be a great place for a family vacation or a golfers weekend.

The Golf Courses

The Ocean course is on property. The conservatory course, I believe was about 6 miles away. We did a golf package on their website. Now, the odd part, I had a couple of questions, and I called, and while I was on the phone, I figured I may as well book the package. It was $800 more expensive on the phone than the website. So, book it on the website.

Ocean Course

We walked down to the course, and our bags were already on a cart in the back. We go in the pro shop, check-in, and when we come out the front, our bags are waiting. The practice facilities are excellent too.

This course was absolutely beautiful. There are a few holes where you can see the ocean and a couple of holes that run right down the beach. But, even the holes not around the beach, were still great holes. We played this course every day.

Conservatory Course

We played this course on the last day. It’s a short drive from the resort. It’s a challenging and fun course with lots of sand. If you have time, play both courses.
